| The sewage system has been redone entirely according to regulation-conforming, properly approved plans. Each house has its own system connected to its own waterproof double Imhoff tank. |

| The double tanks, assisted by appropriate enzymes that are regularly introduced into the system, dramatically transform the sewage sludge. The final result is a highly fertile liquid that nourishes the surface soil. |

We’re also planning to plant swamp reeds to further reduce sewer sludge. Hence at Poderi del Sole, there are none of the “black wells” frequently found in rural areas, which can seep into the soil and damage the water table.
